The Integral Natural Reserve of Benchijigua, located in the boiler of the same name in the municipality of San Sebastián, has a remarkable geomorphological and botanical interest. Here lies a high concentration of endemic and threatened species. On the other hand, the cliffs and the python of Agando are representative geomorphological elements, unique to the landscape and of high scientific interest. The reserve is by definition an area of ecological sensitivity throughout its surface, for the purpose of Ecological Impact Prevention. It borders to the north and northwest with the Garajonay National Park, and to the southwest with the protected landscape of Orone. It includes in its interior a sector of the natural monument of Los Roques, with which it overlaps.
